An smart education, the organization is run by highly educated, experienced and neutral people. No coaching or private tuition required. Schooling happens at school. Students come home and talk with their parents. Through continuous assessment from small tests, quizzes in the gaps of study throughout the year, various results are produced. No Frequent Exams In smart education,no student gets stressed or sick about exams.Everything is in the guise of play and joy. Books and bags weigh more than the child's weight, a scenario seen only in traditional unsmart education. In smart educational institutions, there are no marches, meetings, postering or shootings and returning home as dead bodies. Smart Education conducts classes, exams and results according to the academic calendar. Conduct co-curricular activities (sports, debates and cultural competitions etc.). Modern well-equipped gymnasium, day-care etc. are prerequisites for smart education. Instead of traditional rote based education, smart education is to be educated in practical, action-oriented, creative and welfare-oriented patriotic education.
Jobeda Matin Girls School & College is committed to make people ideal by educating them in smart education.
Born on March 7, 1936, to an educated family in Kadra, Shahrasti Chandpur, Mrs. Jobeda Khatun married Mohammed Abdul Matin of Suapara, Shahrasti Chandpur. A mother of seven children, she achieved a significant milestone by completing her Hajj in 1995 while residing in the USA, where she was also an American Resident. Mrs. Khatun was known for her devout religiosity and compassionate nature, particularly her dedication to helping the underprivileged. Her interests included reading, traveling, and spreading joy through hospitality. In honor of her legacy, we have named this school after her. Mrs. Jobeda Khatun peacefully passed away on October 10, 2008.
Jobeda Matin Girls School and College is a beacon of hope and a testament to the legacy of Matin Shaheb. Founded with the noble purpose of ensuring access to education without discrimination. This institution stands as a proud consignment of the Matin Shaheb Estate.
He was a kind-hearted man, a true gentleman, and a source of inspiration for the underprivileged. He always helped people in need, often in disguise. Among his many unique qualities was his passion for education. He believed that education was a universal right and a way to overcome poverty. Unfortunately, education is not equally available to all in our country. My father's dream was to improve girls' education and empower women to achieve their goals. He educated his four daughters despite an unfavorable environment. Matin Shaheb strongly believed that quality education should be accessible to all, regardless of social status or financial hardship. Just forty minutes before his tragic and fatal automobile accident in August 1977, he was leading a fundraising campaign for Suapara High School. I attended that meeting, and I saw his desperation for help. The Suapara High School was named after him for a brief period, but it was later renamed.
In honor of his legacy, we decided to build a girls' school and college and dedicate this school to our mother, Mrs. Jobeda Khatun. She was a remarkable woman, a kind, soft-hearted, caring person, supportive of girls' education, and a religious devotee. She spent a part of her life in America with her children. In 1995, while she was staying in the USA, she wished to perform Hajj. As the oldest son of the family, it was my greatest privilege to take her to Mecca to complete the Hajj. Our mother passed away on October 10, 2008. May Allah grant my parents the highest Jannat. I'm confident that the school we have built will change the dynamics of our entire society by allowing local meritorious girls to pursue their dreams without the burden of financial constraints. Parents will no longer have to worry about the high cost of quality education for their children. JMGSC will offer the best education that Bangladesh can offer at a very minimal cost. Financial support will be available to qualified students.
We always welcome donations and advice from education enthusiasts from all over the world as well as encouragement. We, the children of Matin Shaheb, urge the local community to support us in running this institution with honor, efficiency, and dignity.
May the Almighty prosper our beautiful country, Bangladesh, as well as our institution.
Amen.
